AI training and commercial use licensing
ToolHund permits search and AI-assisted discovery uses, but model training, dataset resale, bulk extraction and commercial redistribution require a license. This page is the human-readable version of our RSL declaration.
Allowed without a license
- Search and citation use — quoting or linking ToolHund pages in AI answers with attribution.
- AI-assisted discovery — surfacing ToolHund pages to answer a user's question in real time.
- Agent recommendation use — calling the ToolHund Recommend API and MCP tools within your API plan limits.
- Reading /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt, /openapi.json and /license.xml as machine-readable discovery surfaces.
Requires a commercial license
- Model training or fine-tuning on ToolHund page content, catalog, scores or embeddings.
- Bulk extraction or scraping of the ToolHund catalog, pricing signals or comparison data.
- Dataset resale — repackaging ToolHund data as a downloadable file, dump, feed or dataset.
- Commercial redistribution — powering a competing directory, marketplace or intelligence product with ToolHund data.
- Embedding ToolHund data in an AI product's training corpus, RAG index or vector store for offline reuse.
