Crawler & training licenses
Answer engines that cite ToolHund and send readers back stay free forever. If your crawler indexes us for retrieval, or ingests our dataset to train or fine-tune a model, a license is required. Unlicensed bulk crawlers get HTTP 402 on our bulk feeds — machine-readable terms live at /.well-known/ai-licensing.json and /ai.txt.

Scores, rankings and recommendation logic are editorially independent. Sponsored placement is disclosed on every surface (page, API response, MCP tool output). Data licenses do not influence ranking or scoring — see the methodology.
AI training and commercial use licensing
ToolHund permits search and AI-assisted discovery uses, but model training, dataset resale, bulk extraction and commercial redistribution require a license.
